Last week the doctors confirmed some very bad news for us. Tara’s cancer is back. We will know more tomorrow morning after the results of today’s PET Scan. We are broken and trying to find hope. We will need it given to us by God. We trust he has a plan for this but are weary with the news. Tara is a fighter so she will certainly lace up her gloves for round 2. Please pray with us for healing and hope.
ROMANS 5:2-4 And we boast in the hope of the glory of God. Not only so, but we also glory in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope.
PSALM 20 May the Lord answer you when you are in distress; may the name of the God of Jacob protect you. May he send you help from the sanctuary and grant you support from Zion. May he remember all your sacrifices and accept your burnt offerings. May he give you the desire of your heart and make all your plans succeed. May we shout for joy over your victory and lift up our banners in the name of our God. May the Lord grant all your requests. Now this I know: The Lord gives victory to his anointed. He answers him from his heavenly sanctuary with the victorious power of his right hand. Some trust in chariots and some in horses, but we trust in the name of the Lord our God. They are brought to their knees and fall, but we rise up and stand firm. Lord, give victory to the king! Answer us when we call!
Oh, Jay and Tara! We are on our knees.
God is good, this is difficult news. We will be praying for you Tara, Jay & family. As Mother Teresa said when asked what is the first this you will say to God when you get to Heaven as she replied “You have a lot of explaining to do”.
Our continued thoughts and prayers are with you all.

We serve a mighty God! In Him we live! Many prayers for you all!!
Heavenly Father, we call on you right now in a special way. It is through your Power that we were created. Every breath we take, every morning we wake, and every moment of every hour, we live under your Power.
Father, we ask you to touch Tara with your same Power. For if you created us from nothing, you can certainly recreate us. Fill Tara with the healing Power of your Spirit. Cast out any cancer and anything that should not be in her. Mend what is broken. Root out unproductive cells. Open any blocked arteries or veins and rebuild the damaged areas. Remove all inflamation and excess fluid, and cleanse any infection. Let the warmth of your healing Love pass through Tara’s body to make new, healthy areas, so that her body will function the way you created it to function.
Father, please restore Tara to full health in mind and body so that she may serve you the rest of her life. I thank you that you are already at work, according to your purpose of Love, in bringing Tara to wholeness and strength.
We offer this through Jesus Christ, Our Lord. Amen.
Matthew 12:3-13

Psalm 100:5 For the LORD is good; his steadfast love endures forever, and his faithfulness to all generations. Psalm 23:4 Even when I walk through the darkest valley, I will not be afraid, for You are close beside me. Your rod and Your staff protect and comfort me. Psalm 130:5 I am counting on the Lord; yes, I am counting on Him. I have put my hope in His word. The Maier family is in my prayers. Mimi (Clevenger)

Praying and hoping! Love you guys!
Our dear Tara and Jay, our hearts are heavy with the news you have received. It took my breath away – as I’m sure it did for you. I don’t think there is anything I can say that you don’t know or haven’t heard so I will tell you that you and your family are in our prayers many times a day. We know that God is good and we know He has a plan for your life. We don’t know what that plan is – so we are coming boldly before His throne and asking for another miracle. We are asking for healing again! You are a very special family and we love you all very much.
This saddens our hearts. Our family is praying God’s power over you Tara. May His hope be evident in each of your hearts dear Jay, Tara and kids. Continuously lifting your family with much love!
Lifting you all up in prayer!! We pray God’s healing hand on Tara and His peace and strength!
I’m so sorry Tara’s cancer is back and I will start praying for her right now. God bless you Tara.
