Over the last few weeks my tummy has grown like during pregnancy. This is due to the cancer inside of me. While that is scary, it is a divine reminder of the blessings (5 of them) given to us over the last 19 years of marriage.

And just like when it was a pregnancy, you’re beautiful, Tara! Lord, Thank you that Tara was formed in her mother’s womb. That you have known her frame from the beginning and still know it. The girls and I are praying for you all during this time. I pray you find peace as you continue to trust God during this time. Tara, your words about not being able to pray because of the pain it brings pierced my heart. I have been there so many times and I know God is faithful to those who continue to trust anyway.
I am so sorry you’re all having to go through this, but I’ve learned so much during my struggles and have grown so much closer to God. I pray you find this to be true for you all as well.
