Follow up to Yesterday’s Quick Update

The good news is that the CA125 number is down. Bad news, we will need to do a few more treatments. The good news means that treatment continues to work. The other numbers are also going in the right direction; things like neutrophils, hemoglobin, kidney function, etc.

They did not drain the fluid. They said it is less than it has been. That is also good….other than it would have been nice to drain some down for comfort.

Are we ready to keep doing chemo into August? I guess if it is working we will do it. We are thankful for progress.

  1. You are all on my mind daily and prayers were said for you up on the mountain top in Colorado. It’s good to know God hears no matter where we are but somehow on mountains and in deserts it just seems right to talk and plead with Him. I think we listen better too in those places without the clamor of daily life. One thing that comforts me is that God knows and God sees. He sees what’s ahead and we can’t. And that’s good. We just need to see right now. And trust Him with the rest. I suppose it sounds simple but it’s sorta the hardest thing ever. Thankful for your faithful posts that journal these times in your lives. The joy of The Lord is your strength. Blessed are those who have learned to acclaim you, who walk in the light of your presence, O Lord.

  2. I am so happy to hear this news! One foot in front of the other……it would always be wonderful to have the “best” outcome, but the “best” outcome is to win in the end. The bumps in the road are really demoralizing, but we brush ourselves off, pick useless up and keep moving forward. That’s what you guys are doing…..AND doing it so well! Loves and hugs!

  3. Bless your heart, Tara! We continue to pray that the test results will be better each time. Your courage inspires us.
